WWE SmackDown Results June 26

The final build to WWE Night of Champions and more took place on the June 26 SmackDown.

Emanating from the O2 Arena in London, the show focused on the Premium Live Event that will air live from Saudi Arabia on June 27. English stars Paige and Nathan Frazer were in action on the show.

SmackDown was pre-taped ahead of time to give the stars and crew ample time to travel to Saudi Arabia. The tapings took place on June 23.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves were on commentary for the show.

WWE SmackDown Results June 26:

  • Following a recap of the WWE title match from last week, Trick Williams officially kicked off the show. Williams celebrated his recent marriage to Lash Legend. Ricky Saints interrupted and claimed that Williams is not good at making life decisions. Saints claimed that the Williams hype train would stop at Night of Champions. Saints also hit Lil Yachty before exiting the ring.
  • B-Fan and Michin defeated Tiffany Stratton and Alexa Bliss. Chelsea Green arrived with a kendo stick after the match to make the save.
  • Talla and Tama Tonga told Solo Sikoa they were leaving the MFTs.
  • Rey Fenix defeated Nathan Frazer to retain the AAA Cruiserweight Championship.
  • R-Truth and Damian Priest were confronted by The War Raiders. A tag match for the WWE and AAA Tag Team Championships was teased for down the road.
  • LA Knight appeared to address his issues with The Bloodline. Solo Sikoa interrupted, with Knight saying he was confused as to why Sikoa attacked Jimmy Uso on Raw. Sikoa said he had issues with The Bloodline, much like Knight. Knight rejected Sikoa’s help.
  • Paige defeated Jacy Jayne.
  • Danhausen continued his experiments. Matt Cardona wanted to talk with Danhausen, but The Miz and Kit Wilson ran off.
  • Danhausen and Matt Cardona defeated Los Garza.
  • Jade Cargill defeated Chelsea Green.
  • Giulia defeated Kiana James. Mariah May attacked Giulia after the match.
  • Cody Rhodes appeared live for the main event segment. Sami Zayn interrupted and claimed he never wanted things to be this way. Rhodes told Zayn to stop playing the victim card. Rhodes said that he couldn’t wrap his head around how Zayn was best friends with Kevin Owens, adding that Owens would’ve stabbed Rhodes in the front, and not the back, adding at least KO was a World Champion. Gunther interrupted and said that he would win the WWE title and defend it against the King of the Ring at SummerSlam. Jey Uso interrupted and a brawl ensued. Oba Femi also got involved. The show ended with a staredown between Femi and Rhodes.
