The fallout from Elimination Chamber a lot more took place on WWE SmackDown.
With the Australian Premium Live Event now in the books WWE are looking to build to WrestleMania. Announced ahead of time were appearances from The Rock and Roman Reigns along with a street fight and Dakota Kai having her first WWE match in nearly a year.
Additionally, a major return took place in the Street Fight between Carlito and Santos Escobar.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE SmackDown:
- The Bloodline opened the show. Following a lot of boos from the crowd, Roman Reigns teased that the appearance was over. Paul Heyman interrupted and stated that The Rock would be coming out shortly.
- The Rock made his entrance and asked if the fans really wanted to boo him. Going on to insult Gekndale, Arizona, Rock dished out his catchphrases and said that he was in a good mood. The Rock then alluded to his 20 minute promo he cut on social media, refusing the challenge from Cody Rhodes.
- Ending the segment, The Rock issued the long-awaited challenge for him and Reigns to team up to face Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. As reported by Fightful Select, the segment went way over the allotted time, affecting the rest of the show.
- Tiffany Stratton defeated Naomi
- Bayley and Dakota Kai vs. The Kabuki Warriors ended in a no contest. Kai refused to tag in Bayley and Damage CTRL stood tall, attacking the Royal Rumble winner
- Damage CTRL came face to face with Jade Cargill backstage
- Bron Breakker squashed Xion Quinn
- Carlito defeated Santos Escobar thanks to the help from a returning Rey Mysterio.
- Randy Orton defeated Austin Theory.
