The final WWE SmackDown before Elimination Chamber with a title match and more announced for the show.
Airing live from Toronto, Canada, the show will focus on the next Premium Live Event, which will take place in the city the next night and see new number one contenders crowned for the top men’s and women’s championships. A WWE Hall of Famer will receive a warm welcome on the show as Toronto’s own Trish Stratus will be appearing live on the show. Stratus will be making her return to the ring at Elimination Chamber as she will be teaming up with Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to take on Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.
A title match has also been confirmed for SmackDown. Back at Survivor Series, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated LA Knight to become the new United States Champion. Looking to win back the title, Knight will take on Nakamura with US title on the line on SmackDown.
Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green will also be in action against an opponent to be determined.
