WWE SmackDown Preview April 17

The final WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania is set for April 17, which will officially kick off the big weekend.

Now a staple of the final SmackDown before Mania, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will take place on the show. The winner will receive the trophy that honours the Hall of Famer, with the winner of the match last year being Carmelo Hayes.

The other match announced will see The MFTs and The Wyatt Sicks battle once more. However, with interferences being seen throughout their previous encounters, both teams will face off in a street fight.

With Cody Rhodes set to defend his WWE Championship against Randy Orton in the main event of WretleMaia night 1, The American Nightmare is scheduled to appear live, as is Jacob Fatu. The Samoan Werewolf will face Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania in an unsanctioned match.

The Hall of Fame ceremony will also take place after the show, which will see Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, Demolition, Bad News Brown, Sid Eudy and Dennis Rodman all honoured at a separate ceremony.
