John Cena returns, a rematch from Payback and a WWE title match have been advertised for SmackDown.
Following on from his appearance at the Superstar Spectacle in India, John Cena will once again be on SmackDown. Cena has been advertised to be a guest on The Grayson Waller Effect, with Waller hoping the meeting goes better than the last time the two Superstars met face-to-face.
At Payback, LA Knight defeated The Miz to prove that he is more than the latest WWE fad. The A Lister believes that Knight’s victory was nothing more than a fluke and wants to prove he is the better man. LA Knight vs. The Miz has been announced for SmackDown.
On the September 8th episode, Asuka made her return to WWE and surprised Women’s Champion IYO SKY. It has been announced that the former champion has an opportunity to get her title back on the show.
The line-up for the September 15th episode of SmackDown is as follows:
