Finally, The Rock has come back to WWE!
The People’s Champion made the shock appearance on the September 15th episode of SmackDown.
Following Pat McAfee also making a surprise appearance, the former announcer was confronted by former rival Austin Theory. The former United States Champion berated McAfee before the music of the WWE legend hit to a massive reception from the Denver crowd.
The Rock and McAfee would each hit The People’s Elbow onto Theory to stand tall at the end of the segment.
This is the first time that The Great One has appeared on WWE programming in nearly 4 years, when The Rock would be a part of the opening segment of the debut episode of the blue brand on FOX.
