The ratings for the December 9th editions of SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 2.306 million people watched SmackDown and 457,000 people watched Rampage. The viewing figures have been obtained via Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics:

Both shows have seen a significant increase in viewers compared to the previous week. As the December 2nd edition of SmackDown, which aired on FS1 as opposed to the normal Fox Sports channel, drew an average audience of 902,000, the increase calculates to approximately 156%. SmackDown would obtain a key demographic rating of 0.57, also up from the 0.25 rating from December 2nd.
The December 2nd edition of AEW Rampage drew an average audience of 361,000, meaning the increase calculates to approximately 27%.
SmackDown saw Kurt Angle recreate the iconic milk truck segment as part of his birthday celebrations. Rampage would see Jon Moxley take on Konosuke Takeshita.
