Jinder Mahal & Other Releases Issue Statement
Former WWE Champion Mahal put out a simple statement on social media stating that he quit, but multiple sources confirmed that Mahal was released and did not quit. Mahal last competed in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal on the final SmackDown before WrestleMania. The former World Champion was also memorably a part of the New Year’s Day segment that saw the return of The Rock.
Xia Li has also commented, thanking Triple H and the fans for all of their support. Li last competed on Main Event. Xion Quinn has not commented and had been used very sparingly since being called up to the main roster. Quinn last competed on SmackDown where he lost to Bron Breakker in 6 seconds.
