WWE Referee Charles Robinson Addresses Potential Hall Of Fame Induction

Legendary WWE official Charles Robinson has commented on the possibility of one day being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The veteran referee has the best part of 25 years of experience in WWE and was also famously a part of the WCW officiating team. Bearing a resemblance to Ric Flair, Robinson also became a part of the storylines when he served as the heel referee for The Nature Boy and The Four Horsemen. Moving to WWE after WCW closed down in 2001, Robinson has refereed some of the biggest matches that have taken place over the past quarter century, including Cody Rhodes’ triumph over Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 40.

As the Hall of Fame has expanded over the years with celebrities, wrestlers who were not predominantly in WWE and the first match being inducted in 2025, fans have called for the veteran referees who have been part of some of the biggest moments in history to also be acknowledged, including Robinson.

Appearing on the Raw Recap podcast, the veteran referee, 61, was asked about the fans calling for his induction, to which Robinson stated there are others that deserve the honour before him:

“Well, it makes me feel good, but hold on. I got a little choked up. So, no, I just think there’s a lot of other guys that should be put in first. Maybe one day, but there’s a lot of other deserving guys besides myself. That’s the way I feel.”

Continuing, Robinson also spoke about his longevity, adding that he hopes to make it to 30 years in the company:

“It’d be awesome. But hopefully I still have a long career as a referee. I would like to get a full 30 just with WWE. So I started in 2001. So hopefully we can get another six years out of it. I still love it, and I feel great.”

WWE Referee Charles Robinson Ok Following Night Of Champions Bump

Recreating his legendary WrestleMania 24 sprint down the ramp, Robinson charged to the ring during the main event of Night of Champions on June 28. However, Robinson was unable to make it to the ring as he was shoved to the ground by John Cena. With the clip going viral, Robinson jokingly reassured the fans that he was alive following what took place at the show in Saudi Arabia.

H/t to Fightful.
