WWE Raw Star Out “For A Number Of Weeks” Following Match Stoppage On New Year’s Day

WWE Raw Star Gives Update Following Injury Scare

WWE Superstar Giovanni Vinci has given a positive update following the events that took place on Monday Night Raw.

As seen on the Day 1 edition of Raw, Vinci teamed with Ludwig Kaiser to take on the team of Kofi Kingston and Jey Uso. The match was stopped suddenly when medical personnel made their way into the ring to check on Vinci following a bad landing. While many seemed confused by the sudden ending, the crowd were respectful of the decision when they saw that the Imperium member was being assessed.

A replay after the match showed Vinci’s head hitting the mat hard after being dropkicked by Kingston. In an update by Vinci, he stated that he was fine after the match and thanked everyone for showing their concern for his wellbeing:

Sto bene. Grazie mille

Those in the arena have reported that Vinci was seen walking to the back under his own momentum. It is unknown at this time when Vinci will make his return to action.

A further update was provided on the January 8th edition of Raw. During a match between Kofi Kingston and Ludwig Kaiser, Michael Cole announced that Vinci would be out “for a number of weeks.”

Features of Wrestling would like to wish Giovanni Vinci a full and speedy recovery.
