The October 27 WWE Raw saw a title match and more take place in what was the final show before Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.
With the vacant World Heavyweight Championship being contested at Saturday Night’s Main Event between Jey Uso and CM Punk, both contenders appeared live in a face-to-face ahead of their title match. Additionally, Rusev faced Penta to determine who would be the next challenger for the Intercontinental Championship, and Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss put their Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett were on commentary for the show.
WWE Raw Results October 27:
- Following a recap of the previous week, Jey Uso officially kicked off the show. Uso spoke about the number of people who have been giving him advice as of late, such as Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns. Uso stated that he didn’t care about any of that, which eventually brought out CM Punk. Punk asked how far Uso was willing to go to win the title, to which Uso responded, “Screw you, Punk”, and left.
- Rusev vs. Penta ended in a double DQ thanks to interference from El Grande Americano and Los Americanos.
- Roxanne Perez defeated Nikki Bella. Stephanie Vaquer saved the Hall of Famer from a post-match beatdown.
- Bayley attempted to hype up Valkyria for their title match, but they were confronted by The Kabuki Warriors.
- Bron Breakker defeated LA Knight.
- Adam Pearce informed Dominik Mystero that at Saturday Night’s Main Event he would be putting the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Rusev and Penta in a triple threat match.
- JD McDonagh defeated Sheamus.
- Adam Pearce informed Finn Balor and JD McDonagh that they would receive a rematch for the Tag Titles next week.
- Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss defeated Bayley and Lyra Valkyria to retain the Women’s Tag Team Championships. The Kabuki Warriors attacked the champions and challengers after the match to stand tall and close out the show.
