WWE Raw Results November 17: John Cena Appears Live One Last Time

John Cena’s final WWE Raw appearance and more took place on the November 17 edition of the show.

Making his last appearance on WWE TV live from Madison Square Garden, new Intercontinental Champion John Cena addressed the New York crowd just over a week from his penultimate match at Survivor Series.

Additionally, the build to WarGames continued, the tournament to determine John Cena’s final opponent continued, and Becky Lynch put her Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against Maxxine Dupri.

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett were on commentary for the show.

WWE Raw Results November 17:

  • Following a recap of John Cena winning the Intercontinental Championship the previous week, the Hollywood star officially kicked off the show. Cena took in the cheers from the MSG crowd before being interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, who demanded a rematch for the IC Title. After Cena offered him the match then and there, Mysterio declined and said he wanted the match at Survivor Series in his hometown of San Diego. The Judgment Day arrived and attacked Cena, only for Sheamus and Rey Mysterio to make the save.
  • John Cena, Rey Mysterio and Sheamus defeated Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
  • Nikki Bella attacked Stephanie Vaquer, and promised to become the new Women’s World Champion.
  • Asuka tried to get Bayley to join her WarGames team, but the offer was declined.
  • Dolph Ziggler was revealed to be the mystery opponent in The Last Time is Now Tournament, but lost to Solo Sikoa.
  • Alexa Bliss addressed the animosity Charlotte Flair had with Rhea Ripley the previous week, only to be interrupted by Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend. A beatdown ensued with Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY and eventually Charlotte Flair making the save.
  • Maxxine Dupri defeated Becky Lynch to become the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion thanks to a distraction from a returning AJ Lee.
  • Gunther defeated Je’Von Evans to advance in The Last Time is Now Tournament.
  • Paul Heyman introduced four of the men who will make up The Vision’s War Games team: Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. CM Punk interrupted, backed up by The Usos and Cody Rhodes, and a brawl ensued to close out the show. Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns also arrived to side with the heel and babyface sides, respectively, likely joining the WarGames match.
