The end of an era for WWE Raw.
The final episode of Raw in 2024 was an important show for multiple reasons. Not only was it the final show of the year, but it was also the final show on network television until further notice as beginning January 6th WWE Raw will be broadcast live on Netflix for the foreseeable future. With the show moving off network TV for the first time in 32 years, this was the final time that fans would be able to view the show in a traditional format.
With Seth Rollins and CM Punk set to face off on the Netflix premiere Raw, both men were in attendance for a final face-to-face ahead of their showdown, which will also be Punk’s first WWE TV match since 2014. Additionally, the semi-finals of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament took place.
Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett were the commentary team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE Raw:
- Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett hyped up the final Raw on USA to kick off the show but were interrupted by Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. The New Day tried to get their point across but were heavily booed by the fans. Jey Uso finally interrupted The New Day and referenced their history. Uso called out Drew McIntyre but Solo Sikoa interrupted via video screen and referenced his match against Roman Reigns the following week. The distraction allowed Drew McIntyre to blindside Uso. A brawl took place which was broken up by referees. McIntyre hit a Claymore when it appeared things had calmed down.
- Chad Gable defeated Otis.
- R-Truth vs. Pete Dunne never took place at Dunne beat down Truth before the match began.
- Dakota Kai defeated Zoey Stark in the semi-finals of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament.
- Joe Tessitore presented a video package highlighting some of the biggest moments from Raw’s time on the USA Network.
- Damian Priest and The War Raiders defeated The Judgment Day
- Ludwig Kaiser called out Bron Breakker but was instead interrupted by Sheamus. A brawl ensued with Sheamus standing tall.
- Lyra Valkyria defeated Iyo Sky in the semi-finals of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament.
- Seth Rollins and CM Punk had a very personal face-to-face confrontation. There were references to AEW, Vince McMahon, families and more. Rollins said to Punk “You took a big chunk of change to go to the competition. How’d that work out for you?” To which Punk retorted “I loved the placed I work, I just hated the guy in charge but he loved you,”
