Austin Theory explained his actions and more on the December 22 WWE Raw.
The closing angle of the December 15 Raw saw Austin Theory reveal himself as the masked man who had been helping out The Vision since Survivor Series. Theory met with paul Heyman on the show, and teamed with Bronson Reed in the main event.
Additionally, Rhea Ripley faced Asuka and Becky Lynch continued her rivalry with Maxxine Dupri.
The show was pre-taped ahead of time, meaning that spoilers were available in advance.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves were on commentary for the show.
WWE Raw Results December 22:
- Paul Heyman and Austin Theory met backstage. Theory noted that The Vision didn’t wait for their opportunities, but they took them, and he was looking to do the same. Theory also offered to help The Vision.
- Asuka defeated Rhea Ripley
- This Vision spoke backstage about Theory.
- Becky Lynch cut a promo about being disrespected. Maxxine Dupri interrupted and Maxxine tapped out Becky with the ankle lock
- Je’Von Evans defeated Rayo Americano. Evans fought off the rest of The Americanos after the match. It was also announced that Evans will soon be a free agent.
- Nikki Bella cut a promo reminding everyone of her legacy and that she is a Hall of Famer
- Bayley defeated Roxanne Perez
- Maxxine Dupri will defend the Intercontinental Title against Becky Lynch on the January 5th episode of Raw
- Gunther spoke and was met with heavy boos by the fans. Gunther said “You shouldn’t mad at me. You should be mad at the man that tapped out like a little bitch2, but was interrupted by CM Punk and Rey Mysterio.
- Austin Theory and Bronson Reed defeated Rey Mysterio and CM Punk
