WWE Raw Results December 16th

Multiple title matches took place on WWE Raw.

While Finn Balor was unsuccessful at becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion at Saturday Night’s Main Event, The Judgment Day member hoped that he remained the champion when the night was over as he and JD McDonagh put the titles on the line against The War Raiders. Additionally, Ludwig Kaiser received another shot at Bron Breakker’s Intercontinental Championship.

Seth Rollins and CM Punk were also announced to be appearing live following their altercation the previous week.

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett served as the announce team for the show.

It should also be noted that the December 23rd Raw was taped immediately after the show went off the air to allow the talent and staff time off for the holidays. As such, spoilers for the show are in effect.

The Following Results Took Place On WWE Raw:

• CM Punk opened the show and wasted little time taking shots at Seth Rollins. Rollins eventually appeared and another brawl ensued between the two. It was later made official that Punk and Rollins will collide on the first episode of Raw on Netflix
• Backstage, tensions continued between The Judgment Day
• Bron Breakker defeated Ludwig Kaiser to retain the Intercontinental Championship
• Rey Mysterio met The New Day backstage and informed them that they were not welcome in the locker room
• Rhea Ripley interrupted Liv Morgan’s promo and informed the Women’s World Champion that she was the new number one contender
• Zoey Stark defeated Kayden Carter and Raquel Rodriguez to advance in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament
• A zero vignette aired, which many believe to be the impending arrival of former AEW star Penta El Zero Miedo.
• The War Raiders defeated Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to become the new World Tag Team Champions
