The final build to the Royal Rumble, Seth Rollins addressed his future and more took place on WWE Raw.
Fans were very curious to find out what Seth Rollins had to say and if his injury would keep him off of WrestleMania. Additionally, Cody Rhodes and CM Punk met face-to-face for the first time in WWE, each making their claim that they would win the Royal Rumble on Saturday.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE Raw:
- Seth Rollins opened the show and received a great reception from the New Orleans crowd. The fans chanted “Thank you Seth” as they predicted that he would be vacating the World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins stated that he had a torn MCL and meniscus and it could be 3 to 4 months before he could return. Rollins declared that he is taking everything day by day before being interrupted by Gunther. The Ring General stated that they had been avoiding each other for too long before hinting that he would be a future challenger for the World Title. Rollins ended by saying that he will do whatever it takes to make it to WrestleMania.
- The New Day vs. Imperium ended in a double count out
- Ivy Nile defeated Valhalla
- Nia Jax addressed the Royal Rumble before being interrupted by Becky Lynch and Bayley. Lynch attacked Bayley and Jax attacked Lynch to stand tall
- Dominik Mysterio defeated The Miz
- Ivar defeated Chad Gable
- Cody Rhodes and CM Puk met face-to-face. Each recalled their history and friendship before ending in a tense staredown
- Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark defeated Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell
- Drew McIntyre defeated Damian Priest
