A title match and more took place on WWE Raw.
For the first time since they won the Tag Team Championships, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh put the titles on the line against The NewDay. With Balor and McDonagh mocking the fact that they have yet to put the championships on the line, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods hoped to bring some prestige back to the division.
Additionally, CM Punk appeared live and opened the show. Returning from an assault by Drew McIntyre, Punk addressed the upcoming Hell in a Cell match against McIntyre at Bad Blood.
Airing live from Portland, Oregon, Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett served as the commentary team.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE Raw:
- CM Punk opened the show. Punk stated that at this stage of his career a Hell in a Cell match is not in his best interest but this is the only way that he can truly end things between himself and McIntyre. Punk promised to make McIntyre bleed and added that if this is the final match of his career then so be it.
- Pete Dunne defeated Sheamus
- Natalya defeated Zoey Stark
- Jey Uso made his way to the ring and addressed his upcoming match against Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker. Breakker interrupted and stated that unlike Uso he did not need his dad to make him successful. Uso fired back with a shot at Breakker’s attempted NFL career before spearing the Intercontinental Champion.
- The Judgment Day defeated The New Day to retain the Tag Team Championships. After the match, Xavier Woods became irate and stormed off.
- Bronson Reed vs. Braun Strowman ended in a no contest once again with both men leaving a path of destruction.
- Sami Zayn called out Gunther yet again and demanded a title match. Ludwig Kaiser attempted to attack Zayn but Zayn stood tall.
- Iyo Sky defeated Bianca Belair
- Damian Priest defeated Dominik Mysterio. After the match The Judgment Day attacked Priest and Rhea Ripley.
