The May 31st episode of RAW drew a higher rating than first reported. It was originally reported here that the Memorial Day episode drew the lowest rating in the shows history. However, new information reveals that this was not true.
POST Wrestling are reporting that the average viewing figures for RAW were in fact 1.557 million viewers. The previously reported figure was 1.418 million viewers, which would have been an all time low. POST Wrestling have obtained their viewing figures from WWE’s internal data via Nielsen. The final number means that the overall viewing figures were in fact the second lowest rating in RAW history as opposed to the lowest. The lowest drawing RAW episode was December 14th 2020, drawing 1.53 million viewers.
The reason for the initial low rating has been revealed. It has come to light that the third hour viewership was incorrectly reported. 1.586 million viewers tuned in to watch the main event of Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre. The error reported 1.168 million viewers in the third hour, which is what affected the average so greatly.
Features of Wrestling would like to apologise for the misinformation.
