The final WWE Raw before Backlash, featuring a major in-ring return and more set to take place on the show.
On the Raw after WrestleMania, Rusev made his return to WWE after more than 5 years away from the company. Making a statement upon his return to WWE, Rusev attacked Alpha Academy’s Otis and Akira Tozawa to stand tall. It has since been announced that The Bulgarian Brute’s first match back will be against Otis.
Also making his return on the Raw after Mania, JD McDonagh cost Penta in his match with Dominik Mysterio. The following week, Penta returned the favour and cost McDonagh’s match with Finn Balor against The War Raiders. McDonagh vs. Penta will take place on Raw.
As this is will also be the final episode of Raw before Backlash on May 10th, it is expected that more matches for the Premium Live Event will be announced. At the time of writing, 3 matches have been made official for the show.
