Two title matches are set for the July 6 edition of WWE Raw.
Night of Champions ended in a way that no one expected, as Sami Zayn pinned Cody Rhodes to win the WWE Championship for the first time in his career. While Zayn looked to celebrate his victory on the next episode of SmackDown, the new champion was interrupted by Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. Later that night, Rhodes defeated Uso to earn a rematch against Zayn with the title on the line. The match has been announced for the next episode of Raw.
A title change took place in London on June 22 as The Street Profits defeated The Vision to win the World Tag Team Championships. One week later, The Profits appeared live with Joe Hendry to celebrate their victory. As Hendry made fun of Austin Theory, the former tag champion interrupted. Theory informed The Profits that there would be a rematch for the titles next week.
Also on the June 29 Raw, 3 matches were made official for SummerSlam. More matches are likely set to be announced for SummerSlam on the show.
