Taking over the O2 Arena in London, the June 22 WWE Raw will host 2 Tag Team Championship matches and more!
The first of a 2-night stint at the London Arena will see a live episode of Raw followed by a SmackDown taping the following night, which will air on Friday, June 26.
Announced ahead of time were two championship matches, one of which featuring a huge star from England. In what will be her first match in the UK since returning to WWE, Paige will team with Brie Bella to put their Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line against Bayley and Lyra Valyria. Additionally, The Street Profits look to win tag gold once more as they will challenge The Vision for the titles.
With the King and Queen of the ring finalists now confirmed, the 4 stars looking to win the accolades will also appear live in the show.
WWE Raw June 22 Live Results:
- Oba Femi opened the show to a roaring reception, with the crowd chanting his name long after his music had faded. The Ruler soaked it up, joking that they could keep going all night. He declared winning KOTR on Sunday his destiny, though remained coy about which title he’d target with the crown… a tease that brought Jey Uso out to respond.
- Jey fought his way through the London crowd to face his Night of Champions opponent face-to-face. He acknowledged being constantly underestimated, pointing to his Royal Rumble win and world title reign as proof. Femi hit back by saying he’s already looking past Jey to another Uso entirely. The two kept it verbal. No fight between these two tonight.
- It’s time for a Women’s Tag Team Championship match with Brie and Paige defending against Bayley and Lyra in front of a crowd that gave Paige a particularly warm homecoming reception. During the match, Bayley nearly stole the title with a roll-up, but Brie’s kickout sent her stumbling into Paige, who tagged in and took over. She cleared Bayley from the ring, but Lyra countered her finisher attempt with the Nightwing, only for Brie to break up the pin. Moments later, Paige caught Valkyria off guard and planted her with the Rampaige DDT for the win.
- The celebration was short-lived for Lyra, who snapped post-match and turned on Bayley, beating her down, and hitting the Nightwing before officials finally managed to pull her away.
- Chad Gable’s apology tour continues as he tried to win the London crowd over with his new music. Once it stopped, they chanted his name anyway. Inside the ring, he calls out Otis, Tozawa and Maxxine to apologise for losing his way after El Grande Americano took his mask, praising each of them in turn before holding out his hand. Otis nearly took it but Maxxine stepped in and shut it down. She tells Gable he’s only apologising for himself and that they don’t need him. She left with Tozawa, and after a long look back, Otis followed.
- It’s time for Dragon Lee vs. Ethan Page. Lee opened with a hurricanrana, dropkick and dive to send Page outside. All Ego responded with a clothesline to slow things down, but Lee kept fighting back. Coming out of the break, Lee hit a tornado DDT but Page refused to stay down. A chaotic top rope sequence left All Ego hanging by his ankles, giving Lee the opening for a double stomp but it was only a two-count. Lee’s suicide dive had so much momentum he cleared the announce table entirely. Back inside, Page landed a disguised low blow and followed up with his finisher. Ethan Page wins.
- Iyo Sky joined Jackie Redmond to talk about the Queen of the Ring finals, saying she’s grateful to have reached this stage and is ready to take the crown. Of course, she was then interrupted by Liv Morgan. As she ran her usual “best ever” routine, Sky clapped back by questioning whether the crown would even fit on her massive ego, then switched to Japanese to really get her point across. Morgan threw the first punch, but Sky got the last word with a springboard dropkick that sent her out of the ring.
- Next it’s LA Knight vs. Jimmy Uso and these two wasted no time, going straight to punches from the opening bell. The fight spilled outside where Jimmy took early control, slamming Knight into the steel steps until Knight reversed him at the announce table. Uso hit Whisper in the Wind for a near-fall before whipping Knight into the barricade. They continue to trade momentum back and forth until a Knight DDT gave both men a breather. Jimmy was first to his feet, but Knight’s momentum stalled when Solo Sikoa appeared in the crowd. Uso shoved him off the top rope, and while the referee was distracted, Solo drove the Samoan Spike into Jimmy. Knight, stunned, hit his finisher to take the win.
- It’s time for the WWE Tag Team Championship and with Logan Paul still sidelined by an arm injury, Bron Breakker stepped in alongside Austin Theory to defend the titles against Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. The Vision jumped the Profits before the bell, but Ford and Dawkins quickly regrouped, double-teaming Theory to take early control. This was until Breakker tagged in and cut Ford in half with a Spear before launching Dawkins with a suplex.
- Next, Ford was being isolated until Dawkins got the hot tag and went on a rampage. The Profits hit their finisher, but Paul put Theory’s foot on the rope to save the match. He was then ejected from the referee in the process. Breakker then saved his partner a second time with a flying clothesline that sent Ford crashing over the announce table.
- We then saw Theory and Breakker hit Ford with a super bulldog for a near-fall. With Breakker losing his cool and hurling steel steps into the ring, chaos took over. Dawkins shoved Breakker into the ring post, and despite Paul already being barred from ringside, he snuck back in to try slipping Theory the brass knuckles. As if someone said his name, Joe Hendry appeared to chase Paul into the audience whilst unexpectedly Seth Rollins appeared, snatching the knuckles off the mat, and using them on Theory. Breakker chased Rollins into the crowd, leaving Theory alone for the Profits to claim the titles.
Match Results:
- Paige and Brie Bella retain their Tag Team Championship against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
- Ethan Page defeated Dragon Lee.
