WWE Raw And SmackDown To Undergo Another Change In Announcers

A new match has been added to the already stacked WWE Raw on Netflix debut episode.

WWE Raw and SmackDown is set to undergo another announcer shake-up.

The new era of WWE begins on January 6th with the debut of Raw on Netflix. While it has already been announced that the commentary teams will switch brands with Michael Cole and a returning Pat McAfee covering Raw along with Joe Tessitore, Wade Barrett and Corey Graves covering SmackDown, 2 more names will be swapping shows.

As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Raw ring announcer Lilian Garcia will be moving to SmackDown beginning on the January 3rd show and Alicia Taylor willl move over to raw beginning January 6th. The new broadcast team is set to be one of many presentation changes expected for Raw.

WWE Raw On Netflix Era To Begin On January 6th

The first episode of Raw on Netflix could be one of the biggest editions of the red brand in its 33 year history. Along with the already loaded card, fans are anticipating some surprises such as the returns of Becky Lynch and The Rock given the magnitude of the upcoming show.

The following matches and segments have been announced for the first episode of Raw on Netflix:

  • Tribal Combat: Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa
  • CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins
  • Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley – Last Woman Standing match for the Women’s World Championship
  • Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso
  • John Cena returns to officially begin his retirement tour
