Another contracted WWE Star will be appearing and competing at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport.
Following on from his surprise appearance at Bloodsport over WrestleMania weekend, Charlie Dempsey has been announced ahead of time to be competing at the event. The announcement was made by Barnett on social media, stating that Dempsey was a natural fit for the event:
A wrestler seemingly born and bred for Bloodsport. And with his pedigree, it seems only natural. Looking to build off of his debut victory, Charlie Dempsey is lacing up the boots once again and walking into the ring of the hardest hitting event in Professional Wrestling – Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport XI.
Dempsey defeated Matt Makowski in his debut performance at the event in just over 6 minutes. Dempsey’s opponent for the Brooklyn show has not been announced.
Who Else Will Be Competing At Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport?
Dempsey has been announced as the 4th contracted WWE star for the event. Beginning with announcing the return of Shayna Baszler to the unique pro wrestling event, Raw tag team The Creed Brothers were later announced to be a part of the show in Brooklyn on July 28th. The confirmed matches for the event are as follows:
- Homicide vs. Mike Santana
- Shayna Baszler vs. Miyu Yamashita
Bloodsport will see wrestlers compete in a ring with no ropes and no turnbuckles. Victory is obtained via submission, knockout or referee stoppage. Further matches are set to be announced as the event draws near.
