A loaded card, a huge title match and more are set for the November 4 edition of WWE NXT.
After successfully defending the NXT Championship in the main event of Halloween Havoc, Grayson Waller found out who his next challenger would be. Following Danhausen interrupting the celebration, CM Punk appeared via video screen and said that he would be facing Waller on the November 4 show. For Waller, this is a match that he has wanted to happen for years. The second title match will see Kelani Jordan defend her NXT Women’s Championship in an open challenge.
On November 2, John Cena appeared live and announced that the John Cena Classic would take place on December 14. As well as announcing Cody Rhodes as one of the participants, Cena also let the fans know he would be appearing live on NXT. Rhodes is also set to appeare live to present the trophy to the winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The tournament finals will take place on this show.
Dion Lennox will face Cruz Montana in an unsanctioned match, meaning that anything goes. As seen on the most recent episode of Raw, Montana now has some new allies as he is the newest member of the 946 faction.
It should also be noted that this episode of NXT is airing on a Wednesday due to US Midterm coverage taking place the night before. This also means that the show will be airing head-to-head with AEW: Blood and Guts.
