The NXT Championship will be defended on the show. Karrion Kross will defend his championship against Finn Balor. This will be a rematch from the NXT TakeOver event Stand & Deliver. It is also Kross’ first defence of the title since defeating Balor for the gold at the event back in April. The show is also promoting an in-ring debut and some notable segments.
Here is everything that has been announced for the show:
- New NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed will address fans. Reed won the championship last week by defeating former champion Johnny Gargano in a steel cage match.
- Karrion Kross (c) vs. Finn Balor – Singles match for the NXT Championship
- Franky Monet makes her “World Premiere” in-ring debut
- Bobby Fish vs. Pete Dunne
- Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart vs. Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez
- WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase appears for a “Million Dollar Face-Off” with Cameron Grimes.
In regards to the “Million Dollar Face-Off segment,” it has been reported that this may signal the return of the Million Dollar Championship to WWE. The Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast reported this in a recent episode. Host Andrew Zarian has said the following regarding this:
“Million Dollar Belt is back. I can confirm the Million Dollar Belt is back, baby. I was told to wait until Monday. Sorry to the individual that told me this, but Million Dollar Belt is coming back. I don’t know for how long but they’re gonna have it on TV. People are very excited within WWE about the Million Dollar Belt.”

The Mat Men Podcast have recently been correct with some of their predictions. Most notably, they were one of the first news sources to state that NXT would be moving to Tuesdays following WrestleMania 37.
