New King and Queen of the Rings were crowned, title matches and more at WWE Night of Champions 2026.
The June 27 Premium Live Event marked WWE’s return to Saudi Arabia as part of the long-running agreement between both sides. If no mroe shows take place in the Kingdom in 2026, the next time WWE will travel over will be for WrestleMania 43.
The finals of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments took place on the show, which will see the winners earn championship matches at SummerSlam. Oba Femi faced Jey Uso in the King of the Ring finals, while reigning Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan faced IYO SKY in the Queen of the Ring finals.
Additionally, Cody Rhodes defended the WWE Championship against Gunther and Sami Zayn in a triple threat match. Prior to Night of Champions, Rhodes pinned Gunther following a fast count from special referee Zayn. Irate that the match was restarted, Zayn attacked both men to set up the 3-way.
