WWE Money in the Bank saw the company present a Premium Live Event in North America for the first time since WrestleMania 40.
Following on from a run of shows taking place in Saudi Arabia, France and Scotland, the 2024 Money in the Bank show aired live from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario Canada. The show saw the men’s and women’s ladder matches take place, with the winners able to challenge the champion of their choosing at any time.
Additionally, Seth Rollins returned to the ring as he challenged Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship. Whoever won the match faced a mammoth task ahead of them as they would defend the title against King of the Ring Gunther at SummerSlam.
The event was hosted by Toronto’s own Trish Stratus and 19,858 fans were in attendance for the show.
