WWE Money in the Bank will take place live at the O2 Arena in London, England for the first time ever. Multiple championship matches and the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches have been announced to take place.
Zelina Vega vs. Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark vs. Bayley vs. IYO SKY vs. Trish Stratus – Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match
Will the alliances survive is the theme of the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. With the pairings of IYO SKY and Bayley along with Zoey Stark and Trish Stratus, expect each of the pairs to work together to get an advantage, until it is time to climb the ladder. This match looks to signal the end of Damage CTRL, with IYO SKY being the one to gain possession of the briefcase.
Winner: IYO SKY
Ricochet vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. LA Knight vs. Butch vs. Santos Escobar vs. Damian Priest vs. Logan Paul – Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match
This match seemed to be a lock for LA Knight, until Logan Paul was added on the June 19th episode. With the large social media following of the social media star, Paul now feels the new favourite to win the match. The athletic ability of Paul and Ricochet will provide the highlights of the match, much like the Royal Rumble. While the head says Paul will win, the heart and the momentum that LA Knight has feels like this should still be the rightful winner.
Winner: LA Knight
Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio has been cowering from Cody Rhodes ever since the match was mad official. The match is set to follow the formula of typical Mysterio matches, where Rhea Ripley will provide interference to give Dom the advantage, but ultimately Rhodes will win to give the feel good victory for the UK crowd.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Finn Balor – Singles match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
A championship rematch 7 years in the making. This feels like the first time that Rollins may lose the title since winning the championship at Night of Champions. Rollins still feels like he has a lot left to do as a workhorse champion, and if Rollins will lose the title, it will likely be via Money in the bank cash-in.
Winner: Seth Rollins
Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa vs. The Usos
The Bloodline is in disarray, and it looks to get worse from here. Roman Reigns is not defending the championship on the show, and appears to descend into madness more and more each week. With Jey Uso also possibly being lined up for a future opportunity at the championship, The Usos will win the match to further anger The Tribal Chief.
Winners: The Usos
Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez – Tag Team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships
Rousey and Baszler have only just won the unified championships. With commentary heavily pushing that the champions can appear on Raw, SmackDown and NXT, Rousey and Baszler look to make an appearance and defend the titles on WWE’s third band in near future. Rousey and Baszler will win the match to begin to establish the prestige on the unified championships.
Winners: Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler
Gunther (c) vs. Matt Riddle – Singles match for the Intercontinental Championship
With lengthy championship reigns the current theme of WWE Champions, Gunther looks set to break The Honky Tonk Man’s record setting reign in the autumn of 2023. Riddle will get some hope spot in and look to nearly win the title, but the power of Gunther will be too much for The Original Bro. While unlikely to happen, Randy Orton may appear to save Riddle from a post match beatdown from Imperium.
Winner: Gunther
