WWE King And Queen Of The Ring Details Announced

The final 4 matches have been confirmed for the 2025 WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournaments.

The June 16th Raw saw the final first-round matches in the tournaments take place. In the opening match of the show, the returning Asuka defeated Raquel Rodriguez, Stephanie Vaquer and Ivy Nile to advance to the next round. Asuka will face Alexa Bliss on the June 20th SmackDown.

In the main event of the show, Jey Uso defeated Rusev, Sheamus and Bronson Reed to advance to the next round, which will see him take on Cody Rhodes next week. Ahead of the show, Uso was revealed as the mystery entrant after losing to World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther.

The other semifinals were determined on the June 13th SmackDown, which will see Jade Cargill take on Roxanne Perez and Sami Zayn take on Randy Orton.

The semifinals and when they will take place are as follows:

WWE King of the Ring semifinals:

  • June 20 SmackDown: Randy Orton vs. Sami Zayn
  • June 23 Raw: Cody Rhodes vs. Jey Uso

WWE Queen of the Ring semifinals:

  • June 20 SmackDown: Asuka vs. Alexa Bliss
  • June 23 Raw: Jade Cargill vs. Roxanne Perez

The finals will take place at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on June 28th.

WWE King And Queen Of The Ring Winners To Challenge For World Championships

In 2024, Triple H announced that the winners of each tournament would receive a title match against the World Champion of their respective brand at SummerSlam, which will also be the case for the 2025 winners.

In 2024, Gunther and Nia Jax were both successful in their matches.
