WWE Evolution 2 Confirmed As Part Of Huge Weekend

WWE Evolution

After 7 years away, WWE Evolution will finally make its return as the event has been made official as part of a major weekend of action.

During the May 24th WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event broadcast, it was confirmed that the second all-women’s show would take place on Sunday, July 13th at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The night before the show, the next Saturday Night’s Main Event will also take place in the same arena, which is also the same night as AEW All In. NXT Great American Bash was also announced but no date or location was confirmed as part of the video.

Evolution will serve as a Premium Live Event on Peacock and Netflix while Saturday Night’s Main Event will be on Peacock and YouTube.

Who Main Evented The First WWE Evolution Show?

Taking place in October 2018, the first Evolution was held as at that point women were unable to compete in the Saudi Arabia shows. The main event of the show saw Ronda Rousey retain the Raw Women’s Championship against Nikki Bella. Although fans have been calling for the event to be annual, there were no indications that the company were interested in a follow-up prior to 2025.

While no matches have been announced at the time of writing, Features of Wrestling fanstasy booked which matches should take place at WWE Evolution 2 earlier in the year.
