Bronson Reed has returned from injury and made a massive impact alongside an unlikely WWE ally.
Reed made the surprise return at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24th in Tampa, Florida and made his presence felt in the opening match of the show, which saw Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker take on CM Punk and Sami Zayn. As Zayn lined up the Helluva kick, Heyman grabbed Zayn’s leg to distract the referee. As the official’s back was turned, Reed climbed over the barricade and charged Punk into the timekeeper’s area. Breakker took advantage and speared Zayn to pick up the win.
After the match, Reed made his way into the ring and hugged Rollins, signalling that he is the newest member of Paul Heyman’s faction. Punk attempted to attack Heyman after the match but was hit with a Tsunami by Reed.
Reed has history with Rollins as the former North American Champion left a lasting impression by hitting 6 consecutive Tsuamis onto The Visionary and writing him off TV.
Bronson Reed Back From Ankle Injury
Reed was last in action in the WarGames match in the main event of Survivor Series 2024. Teaming with Solo Sikoa and The New Bloodline, Reed attempted to deliver a Tsunami off the top of the cage. Unfortunately, Reed shattered his ankle as a result of the dive and was sidelined for the best part of 6 months.
