WWE returns to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel 2026, which will see the top champions face off as part of the show.
The lead-up to the show has been focused on whether the event would still go ahead as planned. Due to unrest in the Middle East and attacks on Riyadh airport, there have been concerns over the safety of the performers and fans. However, despite the unrest, WWE will hold the event as planned in Saudi Arabia, but at a different location in Riyadh. Following on from security concerns, the show was moved from an outdoor stadium to an indoor arena.
In what has now become a yearly tradition, the top men’s and women’s champions will face off with the Crown Jewel Championship on the line. The men’s match will see World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns face WWE Champion Sami Zayn. On the women’s side, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will face WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green.
The only title match announced for the show will see Je’Von Evans and Penta challenge The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Austin Theory for the World Tag Team Championships. Penta has been targeted by The Vision for weeks, with things intensifying after the luchador won the Money in the Bank briefcase.
The fourth match announced for the show will see Cody Rhodes face Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match. Things have gotten personal ever since Orton returned at SummerSlam, and Rhodes is looking for revenge.
The show will start at 8 pm local time, which will be 5 pm in the UK. For fans watching in the United States, this will be noon Eastern Time.
