On January 15th it was first reported by Dave Meltzer that Jade’s injury was an ACL tear and she would be out of action until further notice. Further updates would be provided the next day by WWE and by the former Women’s Tag Team Champion.

During the January 16th broadcast, a picture from the live event was shown onscreen which saw Jade receiving help from WWE officials. Announcer Vic Joseph also gave the devastating news that Jade would be out of action for a year.
