WWE Airs WrestleMania Commercial During Super Bowl; Hints At Future Plans [Video]

WWE have joined the masses in taking advantage of the Super Bowl.

The climax of the 2023/2024 season was predicted to be the most watched in the history of the sport and in American television as a whole. With this in mind, many in the world of entertainment have teased future projects to the mass worldwide audience, and WWE is no exception.

A teaser trailer for WrestleMania XL aired during the Super Bowl, which saw Roman Reigns and The Rock one one side with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on the other. With all 4 men meeting face to face in a cinematic stand-off, it appears that a tag team match may be taking place in Philadelphia that will feature The People’s Champion.

What Has Been Announced For WWE WrestleMania

Although multiple matches will be confirmed when Elimination Chamber is all said and done, two matches are confirmed for WrestleMania 40. Shortly after Bayley won the Women’s Royal Rumble the SmackDown star made her decision that she would face Iyo Sky on The Grandest Stage. With a week of controversy surrounding which match would close the 2-night extravaganza, Cody Rhodes made his WrestleMania choice too and will face Roman Reigns in April.
