The next edition of Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport will see stars from the top promotions in the United States all make appearances.
Taking place at The White Eagle Hall in New Jersey on November 24th, the unique pro wrestling and MMA hybrid show will see wrestlers compete in a ring with no ropes and no turnbuckles with victory being obtained by knockout or submission only. At the 11th event, MVP made a surprise appearance and confronted Barnett. After receiving the challenge from MVP, The Warmaster later agreed to the fight and made it official for the show, which will also be MVP’s first match since leaving WWE earlier in the year.
Following appearances at the last 2 shows, where he won the first and lost the second match, NXT star Charlie Dempsey will be making his third consecutive appearance at the show and will take on Akira. From TNA, Knockouts Champion Washa Slamovich will be in action against fellow TNA star Lei Ying Lee, who was previously known in WWE as Xia Li. Also from TNA, former X-Division Champion Mike Bailey and former World Champion Josh Alexander will compete against each other at the show. Bailey and Alexander have faced off against each other 7 times before, but never in Bloodsport.
