The 11th Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport event took place in Brooklyn, New York on July 28th.
The unique pro-wrestling and MMA hybrid event saw 4 stars from WWE compete with Shayna Baszler and Charlie Dempsey making their returns while tag team The Creed Brothers made their first appearance at the event. Additionally, contracted stars from TNA and AEW also competed at the event along with Barnett himself.
In a shocking surprise that took place at the event, former WWE star MVP confirmed that he had left the company and challenged Barnett to a match at a later date, which The Warmaster accepted. Over the past week, news broke that MVP would be leaving WWE when his contract expired along with Bobby Lashley.
