WrestleMania 42 appears to have an earlier start time than expected, according to updated listings.
As seen on the event page on WWE’s website, the 2-night event is now listed as having a start time of 2:30 pm local time. The previous start time was 4 pm, indicating that the show will start 90 minutes earlier than originally planned. For those watching in the UK, this would mean that WrestleMania will start at 10:30 pm local time as opposed to midnight. It should be noted that at the time of writing, the show is not being listed on Netflix, meaning that the broadcast time could still change.
While no information has been provided on the change in start time, it is likely due to the company wanting to obtain maximum viewership for the European market.
This is the latest change to take place regarding Mania 42. Earlier the week, the company announced that NXT’s biggest show of the year, Stand & Deliver, would not take place in Las Vegas over the same weekend. Instead, the Premium Live Event will take place 2 weeks prior in Missouri. A follow-up report noted that the early start time of 9 am for the 2025 event was a large reason for this change.
