Tony Khan has given more insight as to why AEW All In 2025 will be taking place outside of the UK.
While the 2023 and 2024 All In events each emanated from Wembley Stadium in London , England over the August bank holiday weekend, the promotion is doing something different for 2025. Instead, the company’s biggest show of the year will air live from Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on July 12.
With ticket sales not being as strong for the 2024 event as the year prior, it was speculated that AEW chose to take a year away to increase demand for a future event, especially due to the cost of renting out Wembley Stadium for an event. However, according to Khan, there is another reason for the change.
Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, Khan noted that as Coldplay had already booked the August bank holiday weekend in August years in advance, he chose to make the change:
“And it’s going back to Wembley next year, by the way,” he said. “Coldplay had booked this weekend out years in advance…we put 81,000 fans in Wembley for AEW All In and I can’t wait to go back and do it again.”
At the end of All In 2024, it was announced that the company would be making its return to the venue in 2026, likely in late August once more. The 2024 show was headlined with Bryan Danielson defeating Swerve Strickland to win the AEW World Championship.
