WWE is set to return to Saudi Arabia in 2026, this time with 3 shows taking place in the calendar year.
The Night of Champions Premium Live Event recently aired in Riyadh along with a SmackDown taping the night before, reportedly the only time that the company plans on hosting a show in the kingdom in 2025. With the Royal Rumble already announced for January 2026, a move that many fans have taken issue with, a new report has claimed that 2 more shows are also planned next year.
As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, two more events are pencilled in for May and November 2026, both of which are untitled at the time of writing. As longtime fans of WWE are aware, Survivor Series takes place in November, typically on Thanksgiving weekend. Referring to the possibility that Survivor Series could also be held in Saudi Arabia in 2026, Fightful has been told by a source that the November show either would not be Survivor Series or the date would be moved, as it is highly unlikely that they would send the roster and crew overseas for Thanksgiving weekend.
In regard to the May show, it is likely that this will be the first event following WrestleMania 42, which is scheduled for April 18 and 19, 2026.
Latest WWE Saudi Arabia Show Met With Mixed Reviews
A subject of controversy ahead of time, many called for the Night of Champions show to be rescheduled, relocated or cancelled altogether, given the unrest in the Middle East that also saw the United States launch an attack on Iran. Despite this, the roster still made the trip to the kingdom and hosted the 2 shows as normal.
When all was said and done, many found the show to be predictable and underwhelming, with many matches feeling more like TV bouts as opposed to big PLE spectacles. You can read Features of Wrestling’s review of the show here.
