An update has been provided on Liv Morgan following on from the WWE star taking time away to film a major movie.
Liv Morgan was last seen on the April 28th Raw when the former Women’s World Champion stated that she was taking time off to be a part of the project, which management agreed to in storyline. With reports indicating that Morgan’s role would be big, it was later revealed that the WWE star had joined the cast of Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, which is already set to be a big hit when it is released in theatres and insiders adding that they were very impresed with Morgan’s work in the role.
With it being previously noted that Morgan’s time away from TV would be limited, a new report has detailed when fans can expect to see The Judgment Day member make her return. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Morgan is set to return on the May 26th episode of Raw, provided there are no last-minute changes.
While Morgan has been away, The Judgment Day have continued to tease dissension by struggling to get on the same page. Additionally, Finn Balor introduced recent Raw signee Roxanne Perez to the group, who is already being rumoured as someone who could cause issues between Morgan and her onscreen partner Dominik Mysterio.
Liv Morgan Still Reigns As Champion
Prior to announcing her hiatus, Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez recaptured the Women’s Tag Team Championships from Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria one night after losing the titles at WrestleMania 41.
