Triple H will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as the headliner in the 2025 class.
The news was first broken by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, who stated that Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker and Stephanie McMahon made the announcement during a Town Hall meeting. The Chief Content Officer was said to be “completely caught off guard” by the announcement and was also “very emotional”, jokingly adding that he would kill Nick Khan for arranging this.
It should be noted that while the news has been confirmed by multiple sources, there has not been an official announcement from WWE at the time of writing.
One of the biggest stars of The Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Eras, The Game is a 14-time World Champion and a 2-time Royal Rumble winner among his many accolades. Along with achieving great success inside the squared circle, the Chief Content Officer has been integral in transforming the company behind the scenes with the development of NXT into the popular brand that it is today and being the Head of Creative in one of the most successful periods in company history.
Triple H To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame Again
While this will be Paul Levesque’s solo induction, the 14-time Champion was inducted in 2019 as a member of D-Generation X alongside Shawn Michaels, Chyna, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and X-Pac. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday, January 18th immediately after the go-home SmackDown for WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
In 2024, Triple H kicked off WrestleMania 40 by hyping up the Philadelphia crowd ahead of a weekend of action. Throughout the show, commentary stated that it was a new era in the company.
