Triple H has issued a statement in response to the allegations surrounding Vince McMahon.
On Friday January 26th, Vince McMahon announced that he would be resigning from his position as WWE CEO and member of the TKO Board of Directors. The resignation comes following Vince McMahon being accused of multiple accounts of sexual assault and sex trafficking. With the allegations being a major talking point, Triple H was inevitably going to be asked about the recent news at the post-show press conference.
Asked what steps are going to be taken to ensure the safety of WWE employees moving forward, Triple H said the following:
“I’ll give you the most generalized answer I can. Everything possible. That is a very important thing to us, a very important topic to us. It’s as simple as everything possible,”
Triple H Has Not Read Lawsuit
While the allegations were summarised in various articles, the full lawsuit addresses the horrific allegations in graphic detail. When asked if Triple H has read this document, the response was as follows:
I did not. I did not. Cody mentioned it, we all found out real time when you were. That’s the truth. I’ll go back to what I said before. It’s an amazing week for us. I don’t even want to get bogged down in the negatives of it. I just want to focus on the positives and where we’re going. We’re at the most exciting time of the year for us and the most exciting point, to me, business-wise, that we’ve ever had,”
