Triple H Addresses Black Representation In WWE

Triple H press conference

Triple H has been asked about black representation in WWE, specifically on Premium Live Events.

As has been seen online in the past few weeks, fans have brought up that black male wrestlers have not featured on the card for PLEs in the past 3 big shows and that no black females competed at Bad Blood. It should be noted that Naomi, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were hosts for the evening and did feature in multiple segments throughout the night.

While appearing at the Bad Blood press conference, Paul Levesque was asked about representation and making sure that talent are given the opportunity to compete at the larger shows, to which  the Chief Content Officer said the following:

“I see everybody gets the opportunity. I don’t see the difference in anybody,” Triple H said. “I don’t see the color, I don’t see the nationality or any of that. I just see talent. I don’t see the difference between men and women, I see talent. We tell stories with those talent, how they can handle those stories and how they can represent those stories, and how we can bring those stories forward. I don’t keep track of any of that. I do what’s relevant and what is best in the storytelling and what’s being delivered the best and that’s what goes. No different than the men and women who main events whatever, whatever the biggest stories are, that’s where we go.”

Levesque also commented on a possible Goldberg return by saying “never say never” and was unable to confirm what changes, if any, will take place when Raw moves to Netflix next year.

Triple H Appeared Live Earlier In The Night

On top of being a part of the traditional press conferences that follow Premium Live Events, Levesque was also present for a segment midway through the show. Making an announcement that concerns Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd, Triple H declared that a champion of champions would be crowned in both the men’s and women’s divisions.
