Top WWE Star Comments On Vince McMahon Allegations

Vince McMahon Resigns From WWE Following Latest Allegations; Statement Issued

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins has issued a statement on the Vince McMahon allegations.

January 25th was the day that shocked the wrestling world as former WWE employee Janel Grant accused Vince McMahon of sex trafficking and multiple counts of sexual assault. As a result of the allegations, McMahon is currently the subject of a federal investigation.

Appearing on Maggie & Perloff, Rollins was asked about the McMahon allegations and lawsuit, to which the World Heavyweight Champion said the following:

“It’s awful. It’s terrible. I hate it. It’s a disgusting situation,”

Many from the wrestling world remain horrified by the allegations that name McMahon, John Laurinaitis and multiple unnamed executives as part of the lawsuit. It is widely believed that the issue extends far beyond McMahon and highlights the toxic culture of WWE. Following McMahon’s exit, reports surfaced believing that WWE are looking for a “fresh start” and to remove anyone closely associated with McMahon.

McMahon has been erased from corporate history, unable to be found on WWE and TKO websites.

Vince McMahon Forced To Resign By Multiple Executives

The day after the allegations, Vince McMahon resigned from his position as WWE Chairman and from TKO Holdings. In a new report by The Hollywood Reporter, it is stated that following pressure from lucrative sponsor Slim Jim pausing their partnership, Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel and TKO President Mark Shapiro advised McMahon to resign as it would be what’s best for the company.

McMahon continues to deny the allegations.
