Toni Storm Brings Back “Timeless” Persona On AEW Collision

Toni Storm Wins AEW Women's Championship At Full Gear

“Timeless” Toni Storm is officially back in AEW.

On the January 25th episode of Collision, Storm met face to face with Women’s Champion Mariah May ahead of their upcoming match at Grand Slam Australia. While things seemed cordial at first between the champion and the starstruck rookie, May later assaulted he challenger before the assault was broken up by security.

As May made her exit, Storm grabbed a microphone and stated “What makes you think that I’ve forgotten?” to the fans, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Storm followed up by saying the following while taking off her ring gear, revealing that she was wearing her “Timeless” gear underneath and that the past few weeks have all been an act:

“What makes you think our dance is done? Each scar, every drop of blood — I will feel forever! But now, it’s my moment in the sun. They say the hardest role you will ever play is yourself,” she said while removing her shoes and pants. “But what you just witnessed is the performance of a lifetime.”

Ending the emotional promo, Storm declared that she was back and yelled “I’m gonna rip your t*ts off” at May to close out the promo.

Toni Storm Is “Timeless” Once More

Tomi Storm made her return to TV at the Winter Is Coming special back in December 2024. Appearing for the first time since losing the Women’s Championship to Mariah May at All In, Storm returned in her 80s rockstar gimmick, seemingly signalling the end of the popular “Timeless” persona. In the weeks that followed, the former Women’s Champion played the role of the oblivious rookie with no memory of her previous time in AEW. Storm won the opportunity to face May at Grand Slam by being victorious in the first ever Women’s Casino Gauntlet match.
