The second biggest show of the year after Bound For Glory, TNA Slammiversary 2025 aired live on July 20 in Elmont, New York.
The show was historic for many reasons. First, NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne and TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich faced each other in a winner take all match with both titles on the line. Also, NXT star and current TNA World Champion Trick Williams defended the world title in a triple threat match against Mike Santana and former champion Joe Hendry.
Additionally, the show saw the return of TNA legend and current WWE star AJ Styles, who appeared live on a TNA show for the first time since 2013. Ahead of the show, TNA President Carlos Silva teased Styles’ arrival by stating that the show would be phenomenal.
