The Usos Win Tag Team Championships On WWE Raw

The Usos are now 9-time Tag Team Champions in WWE following their latest victory on Raw.

In the main event of the December 29 Raw, Jimmy and Jey defeated AJ Styles and Dragon Lee to capture the World Tag Team Championships. The closing moments of the match saw Styles hit a Styles Clash for a nearfall, which was followed up by Styles and Lee looking to hit their finisher. However, Jimmy Uso cut them off and laid them both out with Superkicks, followed by Jey recovering to hit the 1D onto Lee with his brother to win the match and the championships.

For Jey Uso, this is his 10th reign with the championships, as he also previously once held the titles with Cody Rhodes during the early stages of his singles push during The Bloodline Saga.

The Usos Have Successful Return To WWE Tag Team Division

The win follows Jey Uso reuniting with his brother earlier in the month and announcing that they would move forward as tag team wrestlers. Jey started the year strong by winning the Men’s Royal Rumble match, and went on to defeat Gunther in the opening match of WrestleMania 41 to in the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his career.

However, during the latter half of 2025, Jey showed signs of frustration, especially towards his brother Jimmy. Along with costing Roman Reigns his match against Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel, Jey also failed to advance in The Last Time is Now Tournament to face John Cena in his last match, which led to Jey destroying the Prime set and refusing to give a post-match interview.
