The Rock Returns At WWE Bad Blood

The Rock

Finally, The Rock is back in WWE.

Making his return after the main event of WWE Bad Blood, The Final Boss walked out onto the stage to stare down Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes following a chaotic main event.

The final match of the show saw former rivals Reigns and Rhodes forced to work together to overcome Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline. On the same page for most of the match, the current and former Undisputed Champion would frequently have the upper hand but be cut off by a blindsided attack from The Bloodline. The closing moments of the match saw Rhodes take out Fatu by diving from the top of the ring post to the outside and driving The Samoan Werewolf through the announce table. With Reigns and Sikoa left in the ring, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa looked to take out The Tribal Chief before a hooded figure stopped them, revealing themselves to be a returning Jimmy Uso.

Reigns hit a spear onto Sikoa to win the match and nodded in acknowledgement at Rhodes before walking up the ramp. With Rhodes then assaulted by The Bloodline, Uso convinced Reigns to help his former rival, clearing the ring in the process.

As all 3 celebrated, the music of The Final Boss hit to a thunderous ovation in Atlanta as the Hollywood star appeared on WWE TV for the first time since the Raw after WrestleMania 40.

The Rock Comments On Return

Giving a behind-the-scenes look at his return on Instagram after the show went off the air, Rock was seen walking backstage and stated that “a lot of bullsh*t has been going on in the past 6 months” while also saying that he would tell the world what is next when he was ready.
