The Rock continues to tempt Cody Rhodes into accepting his offer.
Appearing live in the main event of the February 28th episode of SmackDown, Rhodes spoke with Michael Cole about the life-changing opportunity he was presented by The Final Boss the previous week. Earlier in the night, Rhodes was also gifted his private locker room from The Rock to sway Rhodes to the corporate side.
Cole listed the number of benefits available to Rhodes should he accept the offer, including a lighter schedule and possibly a seat on the Board of Directors. Cole then stated that there was also a “special gift” for him, at which point a custom truck was driven into the arena.
The segment was then interrupted via video as the Hollywood star appeared onscreen. Hyping up Elimination Chamber and his upcoming decision, Rock stated that he knew Rhodes would do the right thing in Toronto on March 1st. The Great One also made things personal by bringing up Rhodes’ late father Dusty Rhodes and revealing that his custom weightlifting belt had the date 11 June 2015 printed on it, the day that Dusty Rhodes passed away. Rock stated that day broke his heart and encouraged Rhodes to not break his heart again.

Both Rock and Rhodes will be appearing live at Elimination Chamber on March 1st, which will see The American Nightmare make his decision as to whether or not he would accept The Final Boss’ offer. If Rhodes accepts, he will become the corporate champion and offer his soul to The Great One.
