The Miz Opens Up About Possibly Missing Out On WWE WrestleMania 41

Former WWE Champion and WrestleMania main eventer The Miz has spoken out on the real possibility that he might not appear on the card at all in 2025.

With 6 matches now confirmed for the biggest show of the year, the focus has now shifted onto the mid-card with the rest of the roster vying to be featured in the remaining major matches. However, with the new regime being heavily focused on quality over quantity when it comes to matches, not everyone can be a part of WrestleMania.

While Miz found championship success with R-Truth at WrestleMania 40 and was the host of the event the year prior, The A-Lister looks to be currently without direction for the Las Vegas event. Speaking with Alistair McGeorge of MetroMiz noted that while he may not find a place on the card given the stacked roster he will be at WWE World and will also be involved in a number of associated events. When asked if it is an easy mentality to have, the former WWE Champion responded that it was not:

‘No! No, it’s not easy! You kidding me? As a WWE superstar, if your goal is not to main event WrestleMania and be the WWE or [World Heavyweight] Champion, then you shouldn’t be here,’ he said in London hours before SmackDown at The O2 arena. ‘So my goal is always to do that. If the cards don’t fall where they may, you better believe I’m trying my best to try to get into a spot, or trying to get to that level of what I feel I can produce.

‘And I do feel I can produce at that level still to this day. It’s just, you know, sometimes the cards don’t fall where they may.’

When Did The Miz Main Event WrestleMania?

Walking into WrestleMania 27 as the WWE Champion, Miz put the title on the line against John Cena in the main event of the show. Following interference from the Anonymous Raw General Manager and The Rock, Miz was able to capitalise and retain the title, setting up The Rock vs. John Cena for WrestleMania the following year.

Back in February, Miz was moved from Raw to SmackDown.
